I’ve finally found luxury homes in Langford not called Bear Mountain!

They’re not easy to find, but if you strategically pass all the cookie cutter homes along the popular boulevard, you're there. You're in this really brilliant, unique place.
Only a few minutes from Downtown Langford, these new homes - built by Langdon Weir Builders - are nestled just out of the bustling city centre in a natural setting with hillside views and soaring trees.
Simply take a right-hand turn at the new Red Barn Market and Latoria Rise awaits.
Enough about where they are though, the real excitement began as soon as I walked in the front door.
I get pretty nerdy about seeing homes and pinning boards about design.
And having said all of that, I was truly worked up as I made my way towards the front door.
This is an awesome and inspiring modern home. It has all the features you would expect from state of the art builders…and then about a million more!

a family affair
Langdon Weir is a family-owned business and Chris is also the listing agent with Sutton group.
Chris popped by with his gorgeous and super friendly pup - Jackson - to help us with the tour, and I had a chance to learn more about the develoment and the properties in detail.
We were so impressed with the quality of these homes, and just couldn't get over how spacious they were. The master bed and master bath are true wonders, let me tell you!
Not only that, but these homes flood with natural light and exude a freshness, airy feeling I am having trouble describing in this post. We wanted to stay and hang out there forever.
community and growth
Continuing away from the glorious master bedroom, Chris and I discussed his experience building in Langford. Latoria Rise plans to complete 48 homes in this community over the next 3 years, and Chris says he is often asked why they are building larger homes?
If you have spent any time shopping for your next home in Langford, you know there is no shortage of small scale homes here.
We had the opportunity of being able to see multiple homes in this new community - all with unique touches and varying floor plans.

Each floor plan at Latoria Rise was named after a furry family member belonging to one of the builders.
